Today is the last day of school for my kids!! YEAH !!! 
Kinda hard to believe that it’s actually here.
For the past year I have been getting up at 5:50am. Packing lunches and driving kids to school. I hit the gym, then the office. I rush home by 2pm to meet my daughter off the bus, then sit in the car-rider line to grab my son.
Then it’s homework, cleaning up the house, dinner, cleaning up again, baths and bed by 9pm…yup. I go to bed by 9 !!!
Starting tomorrow I get to sleep in till ‘6 fricken 45’, gym 7-8, office by 9, home by noon.
(I know. Rough life I have. I’m not bragging. It’s actually rather boring, Which I cure with drinking. Which doesn’t always make for a happy hubby. I really need to find a new hobby.)
I have to be home by noon, cuz if I’m not, my kids will kill each other and destroy my house. Once I get home they will disappear, up and down our street, bopping between their friends’ houses. Occasionally popping in for a potty or water break.
Not every day will be like this. There will be days of the never-ending moan of “Mommy, I’m bored”. 
I will then suggest a dozen or so things that they could do. None of which will be FUN enough for them to even consider.
Meanwhile, I will try to keep up my office work from home. And maybe get a few projects done that I have been putting off. And there’s the never ending laundry and cleaning that I find myself doing every single day. Ugh.
On June 29th I will fly with my kids to Fargo, North Dakota. Yes, THAT Fargo. Just like in the movie.
(I couldn’t resist putting a map in cuz I KNOW there is someone out there that ain’t got a clue where North Dakota is. LOL)
We will land at 11:05am. I will hand them and their luggage off to my sister. At 11:30am I will be back on the same plane headed back to Orlando.
After two weeks of drunken sex-filled bliss, (I hope) my hubby and I will fly to Fargo again and spend a week at Mom and Dad’s in Wahpeton. (pronouonced Wah-pe-ton.)
We will mostly just lay around the house doing nothing. Cuz there ain’t a whole lot to do in North Dakota ! LOL
Here’s a pic of the flooding of April this year. Yup, that is all WATER. Underneath is farmland, that be where your sugar, potatoes, beans, corn and wheat comes from….
Anyway, after we get back from our vacation I will have one more month with the kids. Then it’s back to school in mid August.
This summer’s goals:
- Close those 9 loans in my drawer
- Repaint kids’rooms
- Paint outside of house
- Do SOMEthing with that ugly backyard
- Fix doors on my car
- Get car repainted
- Buy bigger house with pool so I can have my entire family down for Christmas this year.
I’d rather be doing this…..
