Oh Yeah, Baby !!!

I knew they would come thru for me. 

I knew they would come to their senses.

I knew it.  Cuz I wished really, really hard.

And I had my fingers crossed.

For the past nine months I have dragged my ass out of bed at 6:00am.  

 

For the past nine months I have trudged down the hall to do my motherly duty. 

For the past nine months I have had to awaken Sleeping Beauty from her Land of Perfect Dreams.

For the past nine months I have been grunted, grumbled, and growled at.

But no more.

It was announced today that the Orange County School Board passed the “Reverse the School Start Times Back To What They Were” referendum !!

I almost drove my car into a tree as I stared at my radio in disbelief. 

Last year the Middle School students began classes at 9:30am. The High School students  began at 7:20am.   THIS year the school board reversed these two, to save money. 

Something about less busses, less drivers, etc.  Yeah whatever.  Show me the numbers.

NEXT year, my daughter gets to sleep in till 8am ! 

 

YEAH BABY !!!   AND she won’t be home until sometime after 4pm !!  (She gets home at 2pm now)

No more 6:00 am grumpy wake-up calls.  

I think I peed my pants alittle.
