So, I’m in the middle of hookin’ up the damned ass DVR and I run out of beer. Ya think after 4 hours a half assed right handed person coulda figgered it out !!??

Hell NO !!....




So I done left the kids at the house with my wireless laptops, by bigscreen TV,DVR that don’t quite work…and battery operated BOB—and I run my ass to the corner Mobil for some Burr! (That’s Beer to you ‘not so simple folk’)




I was standing there, 2nd in line, with my 12 pack….behind this gruffy old dude…....




He’s says to the clerk: “What’s yer cheapest cigarettes?”....




I says to him: “The quittin’ ones. I am 11 days in, give em up !!” Trying to be encouraging but not drilling….cuz NO smoker likes that !!!....



He says to me: “I got a thing going with my daughter…she quits sucking her thumb ..I will quit smokin’”....



I says to him: “That is just wrong !! YOU quit smoking and SHE will quit sucking her thumb !! You got it backwards !”....



He says: “I only see her on weekends”



..He bought his smokes and left..................Shakin' my head.....
