What happened to January???

Yeah, did anyone else miss January? That month just flew by !
We stayed in Florida for Christmas this year. Rengy and Mary came and we did some partying with Bruce and Patricia. The kids made out like bandits, as usual. Spent way more than I should have. Eh, easy come, easy go, huh? Can't take it with ya, so they say.

Mom and Dad came for a visit. Been a long time since they had been down. We didn't do anything too exciting. Kinda took it easy this time. Besides, who can afford the theme parks anymore?! We did make a trip to Dolly's Dixie Stampede Dinner Show. That was interesting. The kids had a good time, and I caught Dad enjoying himself a bit too ! And we ventured over to the Kennedy Space Center for a tour of the launch pads. That is always a fun trip. I like that place. '

So, Christmas came and went, and so did Mom and Dad. And the weather was great for both occasions ! Hell, it's still in the 80's here, and it's February. Not your typical Flordia winter. But I'll take it !!

Rog went to India last week. He will be home Friday night. That is one long ass haul !! Just the flight from LA to Singapore is 15 hours !! But he says Singapore is beautiful so it's worth taking the long way around. Rengy thinks we should ALL go next year. I don' t know if I'm ready for the primitive lifestyle of a Third World Country. I mean, his mom just got cable !! And no highspeed internet? Do they have a flushing toilet???? Hell, sitting on an airplane for 2-3 days with a 9 and 6 year old, by the time I land I'll be a lunatic anyway, who cares !!

We survived another bout of Peanut being sick. This time I think he was on death's door. Got up one morning and he couldn't stand up. Looked drunk. Took him in, put him on an IV for 5 days, antibiotic and special food. He's back to himself again, tho worth $1500 more to me alive than dead ! No more cereal milk in the mornings, tuna from a can, steak or chicken scraps, or going outside. Seems he had Ecoli in his system. And since his kidneys are only 1/3 of what they should be, the doc figures it got into his system and didn't get flushed out as it normally would have. Got into his blood and basically polluted his body. He goes back on Sat for his checkup. I think he's gained 5 pounds on that damn expensive canned food !

Ah well,all is well here, kids are great. Logan has his first loose teeth. Bottom ones are in already and pushing those baby ones out. He won't wiggle them so there they sit. Alexx can now do a round-off double back handspring in gymnastics. Pretty amazing !! I'm still processing loans for Rog and Rog is working like he does.

We got moved into the new office over Christmas weekend and it is AWESOME ! I have my own desk ! And we finally have one of those nice, big printer/scanner/copier machines that swallows up paper like I do beer !! Life is good. Don't miss that night life at all !!
